  • What are the advantages of accepting payments via debit or credit card?

    Cash is no longer king! Most people prefer to use credit and debit cards to pay for goods and services. 


    Accepting card payments means you can ensure quick and speedy sales when the customer is present, when talking to them over the phone, or when they are shopping online on your website. 


    You have the benefit of accepting secure payments without the security concern of cash that you then have to bank.

  • Which software are you integrated with?

    ClearAccept has software integrations in place with a number of our ClearCourse partners across a wide range of sectors.


    We are currently integrated with Adelante, APT, Assisi, BrightOffice, Boatyard, ClearCourse Sports, e-clinic, EKM, Eworks Manager, Felinesoft, GDS, intelligentgolf, MillerTech, PPM, Protech, Silverbear, Swan Retail, The EPOS Bureau, TISSL and Trillium. 

  • How do I sign up to use ClearAccept to take payments?

    ClearAccept solutions are integrated into your existing ClearCourse software for a seamless and secure approach. 


    To sign up you can contact your software provider or you can email us at sales@clearaccept.com  

  • How long does it take to get setup with ClearAccept?

    We will guide you through the account set-up process and you can be up and running and using the service within a few days – supported all the way by our dedicated team of experts. 

  • Do I need to be PCI compliant if I use ClearAccept?

    Yes, any organisation that accepts, transmits or stores any cardholder data is responsible for ensuring their business is PCI compliant.

  • How will I manage my account?

    When you sign-up to use the ClearAccept solutions you will have access to your own customer portal. 


    Each user you nominate will be provided with log-in details and will be able to access the portal to view transactions, charges and to manage your account. 

  • What card machines/terminals can I use?

    ClearAccept provides a range of devices that allow you to take card payments in person. These include: 

      

    Countertop: Reliable and robust chip and pin terminals with a power lead that you can operate from your till or register. 

      

    Portable: Flexible and easy-to-use wireless chip and pin devices that can used at different locations and come with a built-in printer for receipt. 

      

    Mobile: Lightweight chip and pin devices that allow you to accept payments anywhere. 

  • What if I have a problem?

    All ClearAccept solutions are supported by a dedicated helpdesk. Our helpdesk is open: 

      

    Monday – Friday, 8am–6pm 

      

    Saturday 9am–6pm.

  • I still have questions before I sign up Who do I contact?

  • Where can I order more till roll for my card machine?

    We recommend ordering till rolls from Service Logistics by calling 01933 201400 or visiting www.service-logistics.co.uk 

     

    Only thermal paper is compatible with the Move 5000. The dimensions are 58mm x 48mm. You can order till roll from any provider. 

  • When will I receive my invoice from ClearAccept?

    Invoices are emailed to merchants no later than the 10th of each month. 

  • Can I claim back the VAT charge?

    Yes, HMRC deem ClearAccept Ltd’s payments services to be VATable at the standard rate.
